PLUSH THOUGHTS

It's Fluttershy! (yay!) This plush was made by the legendary QTpony and was a real treat to receive. This is his classic "Travelshy" size, which as the name suggests, makes her a great size plush to bring to conventions or wherever else one wishes to take her along. She is slightly longer than my laying LFW plushies (AJ and Twilight Sparkle) by 2 inches. However, they are close enough in size and shape that they look nice together. (I don't have LFW Twilight with me, otherwise I would've loved to include her in the photoshoot!)

As mentioned in the fun fact, Fluttershy is my first faux fur plush. I'll have to learn the do's and don't's about how to care for faux fur as well as deal with the inevitable "shedding" phase. I'm intrested to see how well I enjoy it compared to the "sculpted" minky hair plushies. Another neat touch—or rather, smell—is the scent that was given to her: vanilla! I haven't owned a plush before that's been treated with a smell, and I must admit, it adds an extra dimension to her. It definitely smells like something Fluttershy would enjoy!

Fluttershy also included two bows, one for her mane, one for her tail. They come in a pleasant lime green color that provides some contrast to the yellow, pink, and blue. As an added bonus, they happened to be compatible with my Applejack plush, thanks to favorable magnetic polarity.
