PLUSH THOUGHTS

Berry Punch is not a mare you often see in plush form, but somehow she has squirmed her way into my collection. I purchased her in anticipation of HarmonyCon 2024 after I heard about her being worked on from RubioWolf. I decided to pre-purchase her ahead of time and then picked her up at the con.

This plush might just be my favorite "smaller" pony plush. Despite the size, Berry Punch is well detailed. The fact she has fully embroidered pony eyes and sublimation on her tail are two details you just do not find often on beanie-sized plushies. The pattern is reminiscent of something like a cuddle size or even a lifesize plush with the details and comparatively small hooves. Now it's not to say I don't enjoy other beanie plushies, like the more common beanies that Hibiscus Stitch is known for (which I do enjoy and have several of), but this design makes the plushies less chibi and more like a scale model.

I rate this pattern very highly and hope RubioWolf creates more in this style. She has tended to lean more into the "lorg" beanie style in subsequent cons, of which I do own one, but this is my personal preference from her.
